Cecil the Lion and Ethical Hunting

The latest of in ethical news is, the dentist that shot and killed a beloved animal in Africa. Apparently the way it happened was that this trophy hunter of a dentist hired a hunting agency and arranged the whole hunt. According to the good old doc, little did he know that Cecil the lion was a beloved lion in its home of Zimbabwe. The way it happened was that the hunting guide lured the lion out of its captivity by dragging a dead animal and then shot it with a bow and arrow, after shooting it the lion fled and the hunting party later tracked him and shot him with a gun. Afterwards they decapitated the lion taking his head and leaving his body to rot. After all that had happened, when the doctor apologized for killing Cecil he stated that he didn’t know what he had done and he was following the people that he hired as planned. I know people kill for sport etc. But what good ever comes of it, I know people do it for fun, others do it to eat their kill and some just do it just because. What do you think, should killing for sport, fun, etc. something you would do or are you just not into that kind of stuff?
